The River city. Decatur,New Decatur and Albany were merged to become this spread-out city WMSL was the market's first TV station in 1954. UHF (14+) TV started in 1952 in the USA. Above is Benny Carle at WMSL-TV in Decatur around 1965. They also had a sister AM radio station.
